“Cricket Tournament 2017” was arranged by Askhia Progressive Public School Mirpurkhas on Sunday, 12th March 2017 at Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto Stadium (GAMA Stadium). Many respectable guests came and supported young cricketers in which Mr. Faisal Khan Zai (Chief Guest), Mr. Nouman Halepoto (Guest of Honour), Mr. Waheed Pahalwani, Mr. Nasir Randhawa, Mr. Imran Bajwa, Adv. Naimat Ali Sheikh, Mr. Atif Baloch (Press), DSP Arif Bhatti (Senior Footballer), Captain Hassan Baloch (Sectary District Football Association), Mr. Imam Baloch, Mr. Wahid Baloch, Mr. Javed Baloch and Mr. Muhammad Iqbal were welcomed with open arms by Mr. Rashid Ahmed Sheikh (Director), Engr. Abdul Wahab (Principal), Mr. Naeem-ud-din (Head of Accounts), Mr. Hakim Ali Khoso (Head of Admin) and other faculty.
Tournament was played between four teams,

First match was played between Askhia Shaheens vs Askhia Knights in which Askhia Shaheens won the match.
2nd Match was played between Askhia Ababeels vs Askhia Eleven in which Askhia Ababeels won the match.
Final match was played between Askhia Shaheens vs Askhia Ababeels. After an interesting match Askhia Shaheens won the “Cricket Tournament 2017”. Muhammed Anas S/O Muhammed Yaqoob got 4 wickets and declared as “Man of the Match”.
During the match ceremony Mr. Nouman Halepoto, Mr. Faisal Khan Zai, Mr. Waheed Pehalwani and Director of School expressed their views and supported the effort of School Management, Faculty and all four teams. They influenced students to make physical activities part of their life along with academic studies.
In the end Director of School and other faculty members thanked all the honorable guests, Parents and media members.
